White Bean Rosemary Hummus


Easier and a bit milder than the standard chickpea hummus, this Italian twist on hummus is a family favorite. (and if you have a food processor, it’s super quick too!)

– Ingredients –

  • 2 (15oz) cans cannellini or white beans, rinsed and drained
  • 3-4 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 2 T olive oil
  • 1/2tsp salt
  • 3-4 fresh rosemary leaves, chopped (about 3-4 tsp)
  • juice of 1 lemon

– directions –

  1. sauté the garlic in the olive oil
  2. add in the rosemary, then transfer to the food processor with the remaining ingredients
  3. combine all ingredients until smooth, adding more olive oil if needed

note: put it in a bowl for dipping or slather into a sandwich/wrap…enjoy
